Why on earth would I want to take online classes??
So many reasons! They can help you
- meet graduation requirements
- free up room in your schedule for more classes on your school's campus or the GTI
- replace a grade with a higher one (Not sure how that works? Look here!)
- graduate early
Is this true love?
Just like online dating isn't for everyone, online classes aren't a good fit for everyone. Check here for help determining if you and online classes are likely to have a healthy relationship.😍
How much will this cost me?
If you're taking a class for original credit during the school year = ZERO DOLLARS. It's FREE!
If you're taking a class over the summer = $60
If you're taking a class to replace a grade during the school year = $30
**IMPORTANT WARNING for students trying to stay NCAA-eligible:
Granite Online courses are NOT NCAA-approved. In fact, the only online options that ARE NCAA-approved are
Utah Online School, BYU Online High School and ASU Prep Digital. Make sure your short-term choices are serving your long-term goals!
The Utah State Board of Education also provides students with the opportunity to enroll in their Statewide Online Education Program.
