Scholarships are for students planning to attend an accredited college or university on a full time basis in Utah, including trade/technical schools. This also includes all LDS colleges or universities. They do not have to be LDS or have an affiliation with BYU. Scholarships can be deferred for religious or military service.

Our scholarships help legally blind young adults make a successful transition to college, support their post-graduate education, and facilitate career development.
Each year, the Lighthouse Guild scholarship program helps outstanding and deserving legally blind high school students from across the country attend college with scholarships of up to $10,000. Scholarships are based on strong academic accomplishments and merit, and provide additional financial support to help students make a successful transition from high school to a college or university of their choice. Candidates are not required to demonstrate financial need.
An additional scholarship of up to $10,000 is awarded to one or more students applying to, or currently attending, graduate school.

To make it easier, Great Clips provides over $100,000 in scholarships and professional tools to cosmetology students each year! Nat'l Federation of the Blind Scholarship - Due 03/31/17

To recognize achievement by blind scholars, the National Federation of the Blind annually offers blind college students in the United States and Puerto Rico the opportunity to win one of thirty merit-based, national-level scholarships worth from $3,000 to $12,000. All scholarships awarded are based on academic excellence, community service, and leadership.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund - Due 03/30/17

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund General Scholarship is open to U.S. Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, DACA or Eligible Non-Citizen (as defined by FAFSA). In order to qualify for an HSF scholarship, each applicant must meet all of the following requirements: Applicant must be of Hispanic heritage; minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students; student must plan to enroll full-time in an accredited not-for -profit 4 year university or graduate school during Fall of scholarship cycle year; complete FAFSA application online (DACA students must also fill out, but not submit – learn more by clicking here and here); and complete state DREAM Act financial aid application (if applicable; Utah does NOT have a State DREAM Act). All majors and graduate fields accepted. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $5,000.

UT Public Employee's Assoc. Scholarship - Due 03/24/17

Another scholarship option is the Utah Public Employees’ Association (UPEA) Mountain America Scholarship, which awards $1,000 each to three winners. This scholarship is available for those who are Mountain America and UPEA members or their dependents who live in Utah.

PMI, Project Management Institute, is the international non-profit association for advancing the profession of project management. The PMI Northern Utah Chapter is offering three scholarships, $2000, $1000, and $500, to outstanding Utah students who demonstrate an interest in project management. ​To apply for and be considered for a scholarship, please create and upload a 5 minute or less YouTube video telling a story about a project you have been involved in.
