The Asian American High School Conference is an annual academic and leadership conference for high schools students. This event aims to emphasize higher education and provide resources to help students further their education. Held at the University of Utah, the conference will consist of various workshops, presentations, and connection opportunities with community leaders and university faculty. This year, our workshops will include admissions information, scholarships & financial aid, leadership and involvement opportunities, and student resources, just to name a few. We will also have more hands on workshops, including presentations from the Neuroscience Initiative, College of Science, and the Hinckley Institute of Politics. There will also be workshops about Asian American identity, social issues, and cultures.
The conference will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 from 8:00 am -2:00 pm
If you are interested in attending this conference, please see the Yajanetsy Ruano, our college access advisor, in the counseling center.
